I was surprised that this is zero-dosage, as the wine comes across as somewhat generous and open-knit. To me, this suggests great ripeness of fruit, where dosage is not required to add mid-palate weight and a round shape on the palate. This generosity is skilfully tempered in the second half of the wine, where chalky texture steps in and creates a grippy, mineral sensation to close. - Ches Cook, FWC.
