This impressed us lately for its core of genuine, ripe fruit and ample mid-palate weight. The producer seems to follow a familiar path to where they are today: fruit was always sold to the local co-op before the next generation came along and decided that they wanted to improve quality and start bottling under their own Domaine name. The results so far are very promising and refreshingly, pricing is sharp. This sits comfortably alongside Andre Clouet 'Silver' in style and value. - Ches Cook, Five Way Cellars.
