La Goya Manzanilla Sanlucar 375ml
jerez,
spain
$33
Manzanilla is the appellation name for a Fino Sherry which is raised in the Pueblo of Sanlucar. While not labelled as such La Goya qualifies as a Manzanilla ‘pasada’, meaning it has been aged for a relatively long time (8 years, compared to the Manzanilla standard of about 4 ½). La Goya has all the hallmarks of bone dry Manzanilla – sea spray, delicate floral notes, salted nuts, green apple skin, a touch of green almond and a whiff of sourdough. A classic of the genre and a delicious way to start a meal with olives, sardines (most seafood really), jamon, and anything salty and oily. FWC.
