Whisson Lake White Label Pinot Noir 2024

Recently we were graced by Andrie and Mark of Whisson Lake in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills. Whisson Lake has always been known for producing one of the most elegant examples of Pinot Noir in the Hills, and tasting through three vintages of their wines last week only reinforced such sentiment. This wine, the 2024 White Label Pinot perhaps best captures the Whisson lake style: pale in the glass with aromas of dried petal, delicate red fruit flavours and a twist of dried orange peel, the wines packs great flavour for something so pretty and delicate. An undercurrent of brown spice brings complexity to the wine while ripe and very fine tannin completes it.
