Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown 'Thorley' Syrah 2024

Tasted alongside the 2021 vintage at a recent in-store tasting. Both wines looked fantastic and deliver on the tag ‘cool climate’ Syrah. The 21' edition - silky, fresh as a daisy, bathing in complexity.

The 24' - Delicate and poised with plum, dusty blackcurrant and fine tannin featuring. It drinks with lovely density and the vibrant yet indiscernible acidity will allow you to put bottles away easily for 5-10 years. Syrah is not what VS&B are known for, however they do it so well.
