Certified Organic. 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo, aged in old cask and tonneaux for 10-12 months. The sumptuous 2022 Chianti Classico is a bold, heady wine. A rush of dark cherry, plum, new leather, spice and tobacco races across the palate. As good as the 2022 is, it will be even better after a few years in bottle, once some of the baby fat melts away. The San Gusto Chianti Classico has an exceptional track record for ageability.  I expect that will continue here. 91 point, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
