100% Syrah from 20-year-old vines also from the lieu-dit of Les Vessettes on decomposed granite above the town of Chavanay. Fermented with 40 % whole bunches and kept on skins for 2 weeks, then matured in older barriques for 12 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result is the most impressive vintage yet; floral and spicy but with plenty of depth and structure for cellaring. 800 dozen produced.
