Restless Bunch Experiment Grenache 2025

Grenache on granite! Good to see. Pure, fine-boned, lovely aromas and restraint shown with the fruit alongside gentle, guiding structure which appears seamless and undulates nicely.. Mitch Milicich, FWC

The fruit is from Box Grove Vineyard in Tabilk, Central VIC. They've got a couple of soil types there but unlike most of their reds, the old Grenache comes from Granitic soils. 

We fermented the wine in two ways to study how they behave. All our ferments are spontaneous from wild yeast, we want to let the yeast from the fruit and the cellar take charge. 50% of the fruit was destemed and fermented separately, the other 50% was whole-bunch. Winery Note
