Pierre Girardin Nuit Saint Georges 1er Cru "Les Damodes" 2022

Set in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, neighbouring the Vosne Romanee 1er Cru les Malconsorts, the vines sit on marl and a thin layer of clay on a limestone soil. Vinified as whole cluster, 11 months in oak barrels (100% new), 4 months in steel tank. No fining nor filtration. Savoury and sapid mouth, nose of blueberry and violet. Has an ageing potential of 8 to 12 years.
