A modest weight to the wine, a crispness to fruit character, a silty web of fine tannin, effusive perfume of blackcurrant, dried Italian herbs, green olive, dried twigs and leaves. It's an attractive wine, energetic and a little peaky in its freshness and edginess right now, needing time to mellow and mesh somewhat, though you see quality of fruit and finesse underlying.
