From pergola-trained vines, planted from 1938 to 1956, this is kind of the flagship wine from Foradori and rested in large format (huge) old oak barrels.

Dark and inky yet medium weight with levity and freshness on its side. Ripe plum, black olive, fennel, alpine herbs. Some sour sweet elements, controlled and yet concentrated. Deep, dark it feels, but wow, the succulence and precision and fresh finish. Beautiful wine with such tension, length, persistence and finesse. And infinite detail.
