Coriole Estate Shiraz 2022

Gee, I like this wine. And I like it better than the 2021.

Black fruit, hazelnut and chocolate, a little mint and dried herb, some perfume too, cold brew coffee. It?s rich, fleshy and a bit ferrous, cherry jam, the acidity sits well within the wine, and while it shows some nougat/spiced coffee oak, the generosity of flavour and impact here is really pleasing. It closes grainy and firm, with a slight chicory-like bitterness. It?s good. 92 points, drink 2025-2032, Gary Walsh, the Wine Front.
