The Calvarino vineyard was the historical nucleus of the estate and was first made as a single vineyard in 1971. Made from 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano grown on volcanic soil, Calvarino is fermented and aged entirely in concrete for about fifteen months. Fresh and minerally with floral notes of acacia and jasmine with almond, green apple and citrus, the palate is crisp and dry with tremendous length and finesse. Perfect with anything raw from the sea, Italian or Japanese style. Importers notes.
