Mastroberardino Greco de Tufo 2019

From a famous producer of the noble Aglianco grape, a Greco here. I must say, tasting these sorts of wines keeps me sane.

Floral, ripe lemon skin, almonds, green melon. It’s waxy and fleshy, with ripe white fruit cinched with lemon zest and aromatic green herb, fresh and crunchy, a distinct sort of ash and ‘mineral’ thing happening, plenty of pear skin grip and texture, and a long honey and green apple finish offering bitterness and chalky grip. So much character and interest. Excellent wine. Drink 2021-2025. 93 Points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
