Boggero 'Fiore di Bosco' Barbera d'Asti 2021

This Barbera exudes charm from the outset with an alluring nose of ripe red and dark cherry florals and a sprig or two of herbs. Barbera d’Asti tends to be lighter than it’s d’Alba sibling but there is good depth and juiciness on the palate with just the right hit of fruit sweetness. Softness, freshness and a bright finish make this all too easy to drink, from mid-week pastas to a Sunday long lunch. Excellent value here. –Ian Cook, FWC.
