Taparas Cote du Rhone Rouge 2022

Taparas is an organic co-op based in the southern Rhone. This is a burst of freshness with a polished exterior making for very pleasurable, medium-bodied drinking. It's 65% Grenache with the rest being (mainly) Syrah and Mourvedre. While the up-front fruit intertwines with floral elements and faint earth-derived spice, it's the fine trail of tannin that brings structures and seriousness. A winner. - Ches Cook, FWC.
