Roche Paradis Cote-Rotie Rozier Magnum 1500ml 2022

100% Syrah from 23-year-old vines directly above the well-known La Landonne vineyard in the lieu-dit of Rozier (Côte Brune) on a clay-schist terroir with a south-west aspect. Fermented with 70 % whole bunches, then matured for 15 months in new, 1-, and 2-year-old barriques. An elegant and perfumed style of Côte-Rôtie with lovely mid-palate volume and a long complex finish, framed by fine silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Only 5 barrels produced.
