Domaine des Tours Vin de Pays Vaucluse Rouge 2019

I had a bottle of this over dinner recently (September 2024). It's unapologetically Rhone, showing warm earth, iron, baking spices and liqueur cherry. But it's the elegance of the wine that sets it apart from the pack: violets and lavender on the nose, finely grained tannins and a depth of flavour that is soothing and nourishing. – Ches Cook, FWC.
