Ichnusa first opened it's brewery in Cagliari more than a century ago, in 1912, under the guidance of
Amsicora Capra, among the most well-known entrepreneurs in Sardinia.
After the difficult period between the two World Wars, in 1945 they resumed productive activity and the beer became
one of the symbols of renewed well-being. In 1963 started the project for a new brewery in Assemini, the first in Italy
to install vertical cylinder-taper fermentation tanks.

For more than 100 years we have been producing Ichnusa in Sardinia and for 50 we are producing in Assemini,
at Cagliari, and always will be so... a Sardinian beer made by the Sardinians that gives every taste the flavour of
an ancient tradition, a distant tradition that becomes proud every time you savor with Ichnusa.
