Whisson Lake White Label Pinot Noir 2021

From Adelaide Hill's highest Pinot vineyard, this is a special site that producers excellent Pinot Noirs that show so much elegance and refinement. From 1985 plantings, 15% whole bunch and 13% new oak. Only 950 bottles produced.

What a beguiling nose; an amalgum of perfectly ripe red berries; rasperry, strawberry and cranberry underpinned by an autumnul edge. It's focussed, layered and with the fruit and tannin interwoven perfectly. The freshness here is delightful and when added to the twiggy, dry leaf savoury finish it makes this such a moreish proposition. Serious stuff and highly recommended. Jeremy Muller, FWC.
