Wantirna 'Lily' Pinot Noir 2022

The 2022 Lily pinot noir, with nearly 18 months in bottle is really starting to show itself. The wine has developed beautifully, the oak has intergrated to become a background flavour and the fruit has really begun to sing. Juicy fruit flavours and tannins balancing the wine to the finish. 2022 is really a lovely Lily! . - Maryann Egan

This is a very interesting wine, and really quite engaging. Red fruits, orange peel, spice, red capsicum, rose oil, with some cedar oak in tow. It?s perhaps a little deeper and more concentrated than is usual, has quite some amaro character in the mix, strawberry and raspberry, poached rhubarb, a little bit earthy, not least in the tannin department, and offers a bold finish of excellent length.
