Ten Minutes By Tractor 'Trahere' Chardonnay 2021

This is the ‘wow’ wine of the lineup, and particularly impressive considering it’s the first ever release. Trahere show TMBT are not resting on their laurels, but rather constantly looking for ways to get the best out of their vineyard sites. Largely taken from the new-ish, close-planted Spedding vineyard (which in years to come will be the sole source of fruit for this wine), this has a very powerful nose of grilled stone fruit, nut, brittle and citrus oil. The acid is what elevates the flavours, as it crackles from front to back, but importantly it is supported by the concentrated flavours of peach and nectarine that drip off it. Bravo TMBT.
