McCutcheon Chardonnay provides a nice juxtaposition to the Wallis. As is typical of the vineyard site, McCutcheon has more weight, expanse and generosity. Fruit seems a degree riper and is closer to the golden fruit spectrum as opposed to the white stone fruit of Wallis. This wine will suit those who are looking for a bigger, riper and more immediate wine and will also drink better young.
