Soumah Muse No2 Savagnin NV

An ancient variety - 1st recorded in the 10th century this was fermented on full solids in seasoned oak and amphora, and then layered with a Solera system. It's a blend of three vintages.

 Delicious, surprisingly light, crisp and chewy, lemony tang and saline minerally notes, touches of nutty savouriness. Really simple yet really complex. At a recent trade tasting it was my favourite wine. These guys at Soumah at making outstanding wines. Ian Cook - FWC
