Riggs & Wiggs 'Sam Hughes' Semillon (Amber) 2024

This Amber Semillon is in honour of Sam Hughes (1972-2012). Sam and Iain Riggs first met in 2010 when Sam was sourcing wine for his vinous project. Sam’s star burned bright over the Sydney alternate wine scene, with Natural Selection Theory becoming a beacon for Amber, Orange, Low-Fi and Biodynamic/Organic wines. 

As Sam did in 2010, this wine is made using Semillon pressings. Nofiltration and minimal intervention, hazuy on the eye, marmalade on the nose, a textural palate of savoury tannins and tropical flavours. Winery note
