Mount Mary 'Reflexion' Pinot Noir 2024

We Tasted the new Reflexion series release from Mount Mary last week with the wines showing their finer-boned side in the cooler 2024 year in the Yarra. Both the Chardonnay and Pinot exemplify this in their compact structure and freshness. The Reflexion series is made from the younger vine fruit and is a great entry point into Mount Mary. The Pinot is at the crunchy end of the spectrum with a pale colour, crushed rock and a slight confected edge with pomegranate, Aperol, brown twig and dehydrated berry. There is great expanse and an elegant and fine tannin profile. Delicious drinking. Mitch Milicich, Five Way Cellars. 

Our Réflexion wines are made entirely from Mount Mary estate grown fruit, primarily from our youngest plantings. The fruit grown on these vines is still developing towards the quality and consistency demanded for our Mount Mary Vineyard estate wines. From time to time, depending on the vintage, we will release limited quantities of red and white wines under the Réflexion label. Winery Note.
