Moorooduc Robinson Pinot Noir 2022

Heady aromas and sweetly accented fruit make this approachable as much as enticing. It lays on the exotica with Middle Eastern spices, musk and some tangy blood orange. It’s flavoursome, refined with layers of tannins, all supple, with some grip to the finish. Highly pleasurable drinking right here, folks. Spiced dusty cherry with a touch of forest floor - it really expands on the palate and is very complex. Really limited crops in 2022 due to a difficult flowering and fruit set in early spring. The wine is all the better for it. Delicious. Ian Cook - August 2024
