Moorooduc McIntyre Pinot Noir 2024

This is a dry, sinewy, herb-flecked pinot noir with a prettiness to its underlying fruit and an excellent sling to the finish. Patience is required here but the bones are very good. Red cherry, fresh, dried and stewed herb notes, flashes of undergrowth, cedar and blood orange, and then an earthen character – with fruit – through the finish. Oak sat prominently at first but quickly settled down and into the wine. Will be very good. 93+ points, drink 2028-2033+. Halliday Wine Companion.
