KT 'Peglidis' Riesling 2022

From a dry-grown vineyard planted in 1973. Peglidis is a name that sits comfortably alongside those of top sites from anywhere in Clare Valley. This is precise and racy, scintillating even, so intense its almost breath-taking in its piercing zing across the palate. Scents are lime on green apple, fragrant talc, frangipani and grapefruit pith, flavours similar with a rapier-like thrust through the mouth. Brilliant, crystalline expression with so much freshness and vitality on its side. This drinks with vigour and a high-refreshment factor now, but will mellow gracefully over a very, very long time.
