Hewitson Belle Ville Rose 2022

As you would expect from Dean Hewitson, this rosé is made from his beloved mourvèdre and it paints a pretty picture. Salmon pink in the glass with aromas and flavours of redcurrant, raspberry, red cherry and grapefruit cut with gentle soft spice, white and red flowers, almond paste and stone. Some nice fruit sweetness is tempered by stony acidity finishing long, red-fruited and moreish. 92 points, David Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion.
