Gembrook Hill J.K.M Pinot Noir 2025
Made in a style for Andrew’s mother June, this is a completely different approach and allows for new oak and whole bunch to feature. 2 Barrels made, 1 new. Spice, white pepper, silky green herb liqueur, candied black tar. This is a dramatic wine with a high crescendo as well extreme depth of dark intensity. Chiseled whilst also fuller bodied. Looking superb this year.

60 dozen produced. 100% whole bunch, 50% new oak.
Oak shows itself here but as a whole this wine is dramatically seductive. Deep black cherry flavours come splashed with coffee, sweet spice, undergrowth and twiggy herb notes. It’s a wine of both treble and bass, cohesively presented. The whole bunch influence feels both clear and integrated at once; it’s a finely knitted wine. It’s not too much but there’s a it of silk to the texture as well. Everything’s in place. Just a bit of extra time and it’ll be absolute roses. 95 pts, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
