Crawford River Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

It?s loaded with blueberry and blackberry, a touch of choc-cherry in there too, some sweet, herbal influences open nicely and an elevated, attractive mint riff comes in amongst cinnamon spice, turned earth and black olive savouriness. Supple texture, quite rich for a Crawford River cabernet, but quality tannins shuffle around the palate in a sheath that does powdery, granite-like mineral pucker. Black olive and salt bush/sage herbal notes linger. Lusher rendering of this classic, but good for it. Yummo. Drink 2024-2035. 94 Points. Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.
