Chatto 'Lutruwita' Pinot Noir 2024

Medium depth purple colour, bright and youthful. A little smoky reduction at first sniff along with rich, ripe dark-cherry aromas, the palate following on with rich, sweetly ripe cherry flavours laced with spices and some meaty/toasty nuances. Lovely wine, just finishes slightly grippy with a hint of bitterness, which food would take care of. Plenty to like here, and it has a future. 94 points, Huon Hooke, the Real Review.

This is firm. This is serious. Black cherry and woodsy spice characters lead into aromatic herbs and plum. It has a minerally edge, a tonic infusion, a nori roll aspect, and a noteworthy push of tannin.
