It’s a bright crushed blueberry and blackberry affair, grilled meat and lavender perfume, and a bit spicy with it. It’s plush and grainy, quite meaty, silty rustic sooty tannin lays down the law, it also has some freshness and gentle bite to acidity, an iodine saline thing here, but by and large it’s all about pumping McLaren Shiraz fruit flavour without the edifice of oak.
