Alkina - Barossa's Most Exciting Project

Alkina’s terroir-focused project in the Barossa rolls on, as the producer continues to establish themselves as a leading light for high-quality Grenache in the Barossa and in Australia in general. At the peak of their project is their ‘Polygon’ series, where micro-terroirs within their estate are identified for their differences in soil composition. These sites are then vinified separately to each other in attempts to showcase the relationship between soil and the final product in your glass. These are aspirational wines that are really pushing the boundaries for both viticulture and wine quality in Australia.

Not everything at Alkina is focused on the top end. Their ‘Kin’ range offers remarkable quality for the price. Here we offer rosé, Grenache and Mataro in the ‘Kin’ series and can’t recommend these highly enough.
