There is always room for a drink other than wine. During these strange times, we favour a Negroni – we call it the FWC Negroni. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 part Poor Tom’s Gin (Marrickville, Sydney) $85
1 part Primitivo Quiles Vermouth Rojo 1 Litre - pictured (Alicante, Spain) $46
1 part Campari $42
Stir into glass over ice, garnish with a slice of orange and serve in a low-ball glass. Simply delicious when concocted in the kitchen at home. Otherwise, the Vermouth makes a great drink on its own! Simply over ice with a slice of orange or a splash of soda.
