Mount Pleasant Aged Elizabeth Semillon 2017
$28
Richer, slightly buttery style, a little toast and lemon curd, ripe lime with a subtle zesty/spicy bitterness, a slightly chalky feel to texture and a lanolin thing happening on a finish of solid length, but also a stony sort of dryness. Not a great deal of focus on the palate, but enough to keep its waist in check. I don’t think a long term wine, though it’ll do OK with more bottle age. However, pretty much good to go. 90 points, drink 2022-2027+, Gary Walsh, Winefront.
