Limefinger The Solace Polish Hill Riesling 2023
Immediately this is so distinct from The Learnings thus displaying the terroir differences of the Watervale and Polish Hill sub regions perfectly. The Solace is so floral, it's delicate aromas of jasmine, chamomile and tangerine oil are ever so present. Whilst on the palate the concentration is very evident. It's more powerful and focussed, it's youthful energy awakens the senses albeit not overtly tight. Both wines are fantastic and highly recommended. Jeremy Muller, FWC.
Lime juice, aniseed, lime leaf and cinnamon spice. It’s white fleshed, juicy, so much fine chalky grip, chamomile and pear, a stony texture through it, all powder and fennel, fresh blueberry (I know, right?), with a slate and powdery finish of excellent length. Very good. Not as generous and vital as the and Watervale, but still so good. Drink 2023-2033+. 95 Points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
