Mount Pleasant 1965 Vines Rosehill Shiraz 2022
$150
Lots of dried rose and potpourri, ripe raspberry, green tea and jasmine, subtle liquorice. Medium-bodied, really quite juicy sweet berry wine here, with a little vanilla cream, spice, a bouncy dry chew to tannin, a light ‘mineral’ feel to acidity, and a plush finish of good length. Lots of content here, just needs some time to settle into bottle. 94+ points, drink 2026-2041+, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
