My favourite of the three Gran Reservas. Fresh and bright with sweet strawberry and dried autumnal leaves. Soft and juicy yet fine and delicate. These wines age so well – what a treasure. You would think it to be a maximum of ten years old. Drank a bottle on Tuesday night (24/4/18) at the new Japanese restaurant “Maeda” around the corner – BYO except Friday and Saturday nights. Great food and highly recommended. There will be for a very short time stocks of the 1994 and 1996 vintages also. Same price. – Ian Cook, FWC.
