Very fresh on the palate, almost a pelverga feel, or gamay with fine, silty tannins. Tightly wound, very primped and preened by high quality, lacy, graphite-minerally tannins. Compact, succulent and very beautiful. This is exciting, as it performs exactly as the vineyard is famed for; being fresh, up, but nervy and quite grippy for a La Morra. Its altitude (420 m), sitting considerably higher than neighbouring Grand Crus, Brunate and Cerequio, and a more sandy\/pebbly soil, give it a lighter, intensely fruity and flowery mantle and a 'sandy' finish.
