A pretty serious wine here. Dark, largely savoury, quite deep in its plum and black pepper flavours. Tannin gradually builds as red and black fruits intermingle. More than just shades of the Balhannah Shiraz here. Very good. – Ches Cook, FWC.
“It’s become an anticipated wine. Fantastic release. Stunning length, a wide array of flavours, top tier tannin and the (velvety) texture to match. Cloves, nuts, cherry-plum. graphite, woodsmoke. Cool climate profile with a warmth in its heart. I drank a couple of glasses but I was convinced from the first sip. My only real question was whether it was 95 or 96. Drink 2020 – 2032+.” 95 Points.
