It's immediately seductive on the nose: there's plenty of juicy fruit evident (crushed cherry, blood orange) alongside alpine freshness and aromas of classic cut flowers and dried petal. As so many great 2021s do, this seems to offer immediate appeal and generosity, yet with so much cloaked structure that it will hold its shape for many years, adding levels of earth and savoriness as its ages.
