After a wet spring, summer came good with good slow ripening days, resulting in lovely aromatics and intensity. Extended time on skins has built some lovely texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\"\u003eThe resulting wine has aromas of sour cherry, rhubarb and floral notes, with hints of herb and spice from the wholebunch batches. The palate is well balanced, with moreish acidity, a dry and savoury finish, with some well matured tannin from the extended maceration.
