Cabernet Franc/ Cabernet Sauvignon/ Merlot
Quintarelli's Cabernets are harvested in mid-September and dried until the end of December /January. The wine is then pressed and fermented as an "Amarone'.
Black currants, dark cherries, and sweet floral /herbal notes. Very powerful and rich on the palate with very intense fruit, fine mineral, and crushed limestone rocks. Mint, licorice, coffee, and spice notes all blend into this complex refined wine .
2014 is the most balanced and elegant Alzero in memory.
