This wine has been a FWC favourite for a couple of years now, and the 2019 vintage has just walked in the door. In great form again. Freshness allied with complexity. Red and black cherry, small red berries, some floral lift, and brown spice all make an appearance. There is good upfront fruit before quite fine tannins and bright acidity tighten things up. Drinkability is through the roof, but it’s not a simple wine. Terrific value. Unfortunately they don’t make enough so grab some while you still can. FWC.
“It’s in limited supply but it’s one of the best buys on the Australian wine landscape.” Campbell Mattinson on the 2017 vintage.
