Mt Langi Talus Shiraz 2018
This is one of my absolute favourite producers of Shiraz in Australia. What’s more AT ALL PRICEPOINTS!!!! Having a party, giving your daughter a care package or just a Tuesday night bottle, the Billi Billi gives enormous pleasure. Then work your way up and don’t forget to cellar some of the Cliff Edge for 10 years – recently had a 2010 vintage – awesome. The “Talus” and “Mast” are pretty scarce so be quick on these. At the top, The “Langi Shiraz” is superb and demanding of cellaring. Fortunately, I have been putting this one away for 30 years. Recently drank 2003, 2005 and 2010 – all stunning.

A maker of outstanding cool-climate peppery shiraz, located in the Grampians, Victoria, crammed with flavour and vinosity. The shiraz has long pointed the way for cool-climate examples of the variety. Wine quality is exemplary.
