Note: From two or three parcels (planted in 1968) close Santenots-de-Dessus, that make up about 1ha. Whole bunch pressed into barriques for fermentation and ageing.
‘The 2017 Meursault Village comes from two or three parcels close to Santenots-de-Dessus. It has a well defined, if slightly static bouquet at the moment, hints of orange rind and beeswax. The palate is more vigorous with a keen thread of acidity, lightly spiced with just a touch of dried honey towards the finish. Good potential, but it probably needs time.’ 89-91 Points Drink: 2022-2032 Neil Martin vinous.com Jan 2019
