Peglidis is always taken from a block on slightly deeper soils in which the fruit is shaded by a slightly larger canopy. The resultant fruit is Kerri’s most ‘pristine’ and pure. There is a lot going on already with spring jasmine, soft wet stone minerality, lime juice, spiced apple skin and nervy lemon notes. It’s very tight and pure at this stage with a line of ginger spice adding to its allure. Terrific drinking now but history tells us this will richly reward patience. – FWC.
