Jasper Hill Nebbiolo 2017
Savoury, cedary scents, dark cherries, amaro, espresso. The palate is firm and chewy with dry coffee ground tannins, inwardly concentrated, salted liquorice, ripe cherry. Almost gummy through the long, puckering finish, this wine isn’t shy of tannin and oak overlay, but seem to find balance in its heft. Good wine, in its style. Rated: 93 Points. Tasted: September 2018. Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.
